Finding out your child has just come home with head lice can be a nightmare.
They walk in the door and seem to be scratching more often than usual. A rash seems to be on their neck which is unexplained. If this is the first time head lice have been in your family it can cause all sorts of untold stress.
The solution is easy, although it will take a while to sort out rather than a quick rummage and everything is ok. Just follow a 3 step program over the coming days and within a week to ten days your family should be back to normal.
Prevention is better than cure, but as we all know, children have to mix at school and we have no way of stopping prevention. if they do come home from school and have contracted head lice, although you may not wish to, you should contact the school immediately and inform them of the matter.
