Head lice treatment comes when you get those awful bugs on your scalp we were all scared of as kids. Kids are more likely to get this particular problem and it can spread very easily from kid to kid. There was always one kid who had it when I was in school when they would check fro head lice, I never was one of them thankfully. My little brother got head lice when he was a kid and my mom had to use mayonnaise on his head. She was cautious so we all had to use the mayonnaise treatment to be sure the head lice was completely dead.

Home Remedy For Head Lice…

I’m not sure how using mayonnaise originated from, I mean who was the first person to get lice and use mayonnaise? Did they try all the elements of their sandwich before they came to the conclusion that mayonnaise worked the best? Did they try the mustard, tomato, and pickles first and then found out mayonnaise worked ? I wonder how some of these home treatments came about, I guess it doesn’t matter because if something works, it works.

How Do You Get Rid of Head Lice…

After my brother was rid of the head lice we were all fine and nobody got it after that which was a relief. I didn’t much want to put the mayonnaise in my hair because it was a hassle I don’t want to experience again. If and when I ever have a kid I’m sure I will use the time honored tradition of using the mayonnaise head lice treatment.
